The Campgrounds
The drive and the RV pads were paved. Shortly after we pulled in a security guard came and got us signed in. The pad was long enough for the RV, but we had to park the truck beside it in the grass.
From our campsite, we had an incredible view of Bay St Louis and the white Sand Beach right across the road.
The cost of the site was $35. However when we made our reservations, we were told if we went to Silver Slipper Casino and signed up for the free Members club, we would get one-night of free in the RV park.
So we each took $50 to blow and walked to the casino. The casino is about 1/2 mile from the RV park and there is a very nice wide sidewalk between the road and the beach to walk on.
The Casino
I ended up walking out with $38 and a free buffet. Sherry ended up with $16 and a free buffet, plus our free night at the RV park.
One warning for fellow campers with big rigs. When you get to the T in the road right before the casino, the campground is to the left. So go left, NOT RIGHT, towards the casino as we did. There is not much area to turn around. We were lucky the small lot behind the casino was not full or we would have been in trouble and had to back out 1/2 mile.
They also have a hotel and an outdoor pool that looked incredible, but we couldn’t go in because we didn’t have a room. There are several options for dining at the Silver Slipper, but I will let Sherry post about that.

My wife and I along with another couple booked sites at the RV Park. We had a $300 ice chest stolen from our campsite #16. We call for security to come to the RV park. The casino said we should have secured our belonging better. Come to find out this was the second ice chest that had been stolen during the weekend. Security is non-existence at the RV park. Cars and trucks with rough looking people are constantly riding through the campground scoping things out. The person on the phone (they did not send anyone) said they would report it to risk management.
I wouldn't recommend staying there until they decide to make it safe to do so. I didn't want them to replace my ice chest. I just wanted let them know what was happening in their RV Park.
Oh well, we won't be back even though the casino is nice. We will not stay in a dangerous place. who knows the next time they may be breaking in doors. The casino doesn't seem to care.
Silver slipper RV park
We've used this park about a dozen times in the last couple years. It's a great stop off between North east FL and TX. Great park if you love the beach and casinos. No pull Thurs but the lots are easy to back in. We had electricy, water and sewer. No bath house. There are beach side sites but they face fairly busy street between park and beach. We try to get back side, we can still see the beach but less noise. Casino provides bus to and from casino you just have to call. The drivers always wait for you to get in the RV. Once I had trouble getting the door open on the new 5th wheel. The driver helped open the door.
There's not much to do for kids except the beach. I wouldn't bring my grandkids they'd be bored in a minute. No tv no internet yet, been told that's comming. We are spending Christmas there with our adult son. He loves the beach and the casino.
OCEANFRONT PROPERTY!
The best spot to be next to the beach in the area. Love it
Simple beautiful park
Perfect Place to watch the sun come up and go down
Very basic park with all you need to stay at the beach. Electricity, water and sewer. Stayed 3 nights in motor home and enjoyed peaceful beach front spaces. Went to beach every day and Casino shuttle picked up every night to enjoy some gaming. Valet staff all very friendly and accomodating for pick up and taking us back to park.
